@trinity9011 the point is that you can really help improve your speed, agility, and power in short periods of time by adding plyometrics to your workout routine but not over do them since theyre so intense
I honestly doubt it because it's not used as much as the biceps or lats. If you're using a lot of tricep strength during a chin up of any kind I'd think about technique because it's very unlikely.
I was just wondering... Do plyometric pullups pose some danger to the long head of the triceps brachii? I've read from Frederic Delavier's Strength Training Anatomy that tearing of the long head of the triceps brachii usually occur when this muscle group is improperly warmed up or during pullups with added weights. Plyometric pullups surely place more stress to the triceps brachii compared to the regular pullups.

With the type of pull up that his doing it's okay. Because it's such an intense core exercise you have too.
But with other exercises and other pull ups it's not okay because it's considered training.
