UTEP Director of Athletics Bob Stull announced that head football coach Mike Price will stay on as coach of the Miners for at least one more year. Citing continuity and where UTEP's program was before Price, Stull downplayed the lack of a contract beyond the upcoming season, saying the Miners' situation was no different than any other program's with all the turnover in the sport.
