I find fascinating how people (or at least the panel) knows the intricacies of the government as they do. They seem to know the branches and all sub-compartments. I guess the government was looked at as the good guy back then. Now all we know is there's one branch and that's greed.

This guy was my uncle (James Conlon). He was also on "To Tell The Truth" sometime in the 60's. Is there a chance you can get a clip of that?

This is awesome. This was taped just two days after Hawai'i became the 50th state of the United States, and seven months after Alaska became the 49th, hence the new 49-star flag stamp and the soon-to-be-new 50-star flag stamp. History in the making. Double rainbow!

The audience needs to keep their mouths shut.

I love how when a panelist asks if it's a non-profit making organization, and the audience laughs, they always know it's a government employee!!
At the end of the game, ( 5:36 ) he gives Daly and the panel advance specimens of a new stamp.
In the 1959 Tony Randall mystery guest clip (posted in YouTubia), which followed this game and the Kellogg's commercial, Arlene wore her stamp on her shoulder as if she were a package. Who among us would wish to find a package like Arlene in our morning mail?
Bennett observed ruefully during the closing good nights -- Arlene still chases the mails. We should only hope.
