^Tell me about it. I've seen my dad's pictures and envy him for being able to live through the 80's. Him and all of his friends could get fast cars, and build them faster CHEAP!
Today, the car hobby is a rich mans hobby, not for the kids like it used to be.
You can't touch a 60's or 70's car for less than a few thousand $ and to do any work is outrageous.
Where are the days of $50 headers and $70 cams? Cheaper used.
I miss the 80's and never even lived through it. Just through pics and stories.
