Although it's true that governments, both "left wing" or "right wing", take it out of proportion and try to control and benefit from the population, the truth is collectivism is needed in order for humans to survive. I agree with the main idea of your view, but let's not get radial, because then we just become as bad as them.

The Left-Right spectrum is a relic from the French Revolution, it describes two kinds of collectivists, with no room for those who do not adhere to collective ideals.

On the left are the economic collectivists, who believe that they can allocate land, labor, and capital better than individuals responding to supply and demand. On the right are moral collectivists, who believe that they can make better decisions on how you use your body and voice than the individual.

Both are sickening.

Frank Zappa was an individualist, a believer in self-determination, civil liberties, as well as property rights. Left and right are meaningless terms, two brands of the same slime of anti-individualist, inconsistent pseudo-ideologies that have become, unfortunately, heavily entrenched.

I respect this man and what he has done, for the good of all of us.
