A few people have asked that I post more clips from interviews, so here's one. Tommy Vance had a radio show and on the Friday after Lynott passed away, did a tribute show to him, and interviewed many of the past members of Lizzy. I'll be posting two selections from it, and this is the first one I've chosen. Brian Robertson tells Mr. Vance about how he came to be in Lizzy and what it was like for him early on in the band. Enjoy!

Moore may have been a technically better player than Robbo....but Robbo was much better in Lizzy than Gary was. Especially with the harmony lead thing. Robbo's solos were so memorable as well.

Brian was obviously sad..he played closer to 12 years with Thin Lizzy, in the Phil Lynott line up, another 2 years in the John Sykes version. A great and highly underrated drummer...in my opinion top 20 rock drummer of all time...no doubt.

I've probably been a bit unkind to Gary Moore after revisiting this blog actually lol. For me Gary was better doing his solo thing as he was more 'in yer face' than Scott or Brian as I think these two were better as a team on the twin lead thing.

Per your Robbo comment: I agree with a lot you said in that blog man. Scott and Brian were the best combo by far.
