I realize these contests aren't supposed to be (facial) beauty contests, but 3rd place is by far the most overall "bikini beautiful" with the face to match. I think in order to differentiate itself from the fitness & figure contests, the bikini contests should score the facial beauty higher as part of the equation. Agree with the previous poster who said the scoring on the bikini category seems to be hap-hazard at best...and almost entirely subjective.

@TruthynessStrategery The key word here is "physique" contest, not "beauty" contest. I think this is where the NPC is trying to make the distinction. If it were face, then there's nothing stopping them by making the criteria legs, arms, abs, breasts, butt, et. al.; everyone scratches their heads over some of the judging in every category, beautiful women are not always fit and fit women are not always beautiful! The last comment you and the other post stated sums it up, haphazard and subjective

very good observation. They are still trying to define the sport and that's how it goes when they incorporate a new division, they adapt as they go along. Thanks for the comment and watch for more to come.

I love these women! It just appears that Bikini, Figure and Fitness don't know exactly what they want. The second place contestant looked more fitness then anything. I would think by the looks of the winner the fifth place should have been second or third.
