"Blade: Trinity" (2004) Theatrical Trailer

"Blade: Trinity" is a 2004 Cyberpunk Horror Action film written and directed by David S. Goyer. Starring Wesley Snipes, Ryan Reynolds, Jessica Biel, Kris Kristofferson, Parkey Posey, Natasha Lyonne, Patton Oswalt, Triple H and Dominic Purcell. As Blade is hunted by the FBI following the vampires framing him for the murder of a human, he is forced through circumstance to team up with a rag tag group of hunters called the Nightstalkers. Blade must now do battle with the original catalyst of the vampire race...Dracula.

Hey you know your stuff! Tru dat the Nightstalkers was his slaying crew but the version of the stalkers in the film was weak-sauce.

Marvel got the rights to blade back! Nice. But, Wesley IS Blade. I mean anyone else in the role is just gonna be bootleg. So unless they wait 3 years for him to get outta lockdown or find someone as ill as Wesley Blade needs to be retired. I thought Wesley pulled off the badass personality but someone else? Ur correct, might need a re-write.

@o82774 This film was actually a throwback to how Blade was always a part of some sort of vampire hunting team in the comics.

The movie still sucks, but there you go.

Also, Marvel have the rights to Blade again, so maybe this time they'll make one where he actually has a personality.

@SirLokiChuffingtom that must happen. Snipes vs Jet Li would be as epic as it gets, especially for a Blade movie. When Snipes gets out, he has to do another Blade.

In retrospect this movie wasn't the steaming hot abortion of a shit pile that I first believed it was when I first saw it.

It just wasn't a Blade movie. It was some weird team vampire hunter movie with a cameo from Blade. In this light it was a way above average actioner.

But judged against the utter brilliance of the 2 real Blade films it is garbage that they had not business trying to pass as a Blade film. Hopefully they will make an actual Blade 3 starring Wesley as Blade.

@SirLokiChuffingtom I dunno, if Sticky Fingaz (Blade from tv show) was asked, and the story was good, I think a 4th movie could be made without Snipes. It may not be as good...but still worth seeing.
