The Logitech is a mass consumer product, the FREX wheel is more of a custom shop item. Totally different animals, very different price tags, no comparison should be made in my opinion.

You missed the whole point of what I said. It's a weak comparison because one is for ENTHUSIASTS @ an affordable price while the other is something for a select few that is 4x the price! To put it more clearly that is like comparing a G25 to a PS1 non FFB wheel, yes they are both "wheels" but it is not a clear comparison. I could understand they need to show something to distinguish their "progress" but I think it would be enough just to show in game usage as that is the definitive display.

@flexibly77 ~ It's not exactly proper to compare beer to fine wine or a Gallardo to say an Evo X...even if they have similarities & do what they do respectively from good to "better"...that doesn't make it a proper comparison. It's like comparing a Wheel Stand Pro to a VisionRacer VR3 ~ it's absolutely obvious the VisionRacer is "better" and that's because it is tailored towards a different clientele that can AFFORD the astronomical price difference. It's just not equal on level terms to compare

@OnerGT OnerGT, thats true no doubt. But its nice to show ppl functionality beyond G25. If I tell normal non-racers that the G25 is not the best wheel you can have, they dont understand because every magazine tells them the G25/27 is the best you can get. So there are millions of G25 test and ratings, but nearly non for advanced wheels like Frex. Just forget the prize, it is not the question of buying this or that for the same prize. It is a comparison of technical features.

@flexibly77 You obviously don't understand what was explained. Would everyone love a FREX? Hell yes. Would 99% of people who are enthusiasts buy one at the price? Nope. This is not a point that the G25/G27 is "better" because it is not. That what you don't get. It's not a proper comparison, no more than comparing an Evo X to a Gallardo. Both are great fun but one is out of range for 99% of the people. Thus not a proper comparison. We know the FREX is better. It's the cost that separates them.

Does ANY wheel on the market simulate engine vibration properly? Todays wheels still feel like driving a lame RC car.

@snowthugs no i don't have one. but a friend off me, he had the jl-g25 and the vpp.

They have a spectaculear force feedback and are cheap then the frex in this class.. i think it is a good comparison to the frex. you can always but the arc e-mod them to.
