  • IFR 1200 is good for bench.

Prefer IFR 500 for field usage.

  • nice video .your the man on the cobra 2000

  • OMG a CB shop that actually has a Spectrum Analyser.

Nice. Just checked online and one is listed at $2500 Buy it now.

Considering a HP8924c for myself and Measurement Innovation Software to control it via GPIB.

do you have any preference one CommunicationsMonitor over the other??

    Thanks

  • As a professional telecom\radio tech, You have a first class First Class Bench Setup! I used an IFR 1200S in trade school. Now I use a R2670B. You should have more than enough work to keep you busy! Super nice 2000GTL! I wish I had mine back!

    Thanks for posting,

    John

  • Long live the the legend, Cobra 2000 GTL! I have a mint 2000 used daily. Click on my screen name and see the 4 videos. This is Bulldog, Unit 777 over here in central Maine, 73's!

  • I haven't seen a Cobra 200GTL in years. didn't know they was still around. I worked on a few and had great performance out of them. Of course the free band frequencies were big back in the 80's and 90's, so that where I stayed till I got into HAM radio.. a great beginner radio to get into the hobby
