cept for the blue line the other 3 subways has complete cement tracks that sounds like scary rolling stones when the trains runs on them do you know why its that way??

yup thats correct, they removed the other cab ends so that there would be more space in the car. ive wondered bout that too at one point. good video Jd and good background info as well wildcatt.

0:20 when built in 1969-70, the 24 01500s were single-cars, and the 52 01600s were married pairs (hence the number difference). the 01500s were converted to married pairs in the 015/1600 overhaul in the mid-80s, same time the 01700s were delivered (as all married pairs)
