@conraderb If you store the garlic covered in oil and in the refrigerator it will keep up to 2-3 weeks. If your garlic turns green then the bacteria will show up. It is proved!

but i discovered that if you remove the green sprouts from the cloves they last longer in plain garlic juice or water plus citric acid.
