I have attempted to pose a question about peace, but instead i am reading comments of aggression below. i cannot begin to understand what people from Palestine and Israel are going through, and I am sure that there are numerous ways to justify the pain and hurt that both sides feel and the aggression that comes from that.

In this context, though, can we please attempt to understand and communicate our common humanity and basic human goodness that we all possess and share?

i do appreciate you expressing your thoughts particularly in regard to the british ownership of the land before 1948.

i do take issue with the comment "all terrorists r muslims." this is simply not true as there have been terrorist attacks here in the US that were not committed by muslims.

i still feel strongly that aggression will absolutely not solve anything, regardless of who is the aggressor.

International law, seemingly, doesn't hold any weight because of the misuse of it. Or rather the misuse of the term 'international law'.

This term is simply used by activists to give their empty rhetoric more weight in order to impress those who know nothing about international law.

The reality is that in no case has Israel clearly broken international law. Of course, this will never be accepted because without this illusion, Israel's actions of self-defence would seem legitimate.

The thing is that International Law exists. USA has always tried to act like it doesnt apply to them. But when other violate it they are the first to defend it.
