This is the Liberal High School Marching Band from Liberal, MO performing the first show I ever wrote. This was my first year as a band director and the students' first year actually marching show-style drill. When you consider this alongside the difficulty of the music and the ensemble's size and average age (almost half were 8th graders at the time), there's actually a lot to be proud of here.
The music is Wally Johnson's "Fanfare and Entrance," the theme from "The Magnificent Seven" and our fight song (from "Our Director").
@terrorskid45 ,I REMEMBER THIS DAY! MRS.KELSEY?? IS THIS YOU?

I wish someone would put on a tape of our 130 strong Lancaster HS Marching band from Lancaster, NY. We took 2nd place at states in Syracuse this year with a song written by the band director no less!

How weird, before I lived in Tahlequah I went to High School in Liberal, Kansas. I was wondering why you would have a view of my old high school's marching band, but now I understand. I didn't even know there was a Liberal, MO!
