This song is based on the Christy Moore song "Missing you", I wrote it shortly after the Ireland vs France world cup playoff in the Stade de France when a certain superstar of soccer called Thierry Henry cheated by handling the ball to William Gallas who scored in extra time.This goal which was scored under the nose of Swedish referee Martin Hansson eventually knocked the Republic of Ireland out to the apparant joy of Fifa president Sepp Blatter .Cheats are ruining the game of football and have to be sanctioned,if not by Fifa by the fans themselves.Come on the Irish !!
