You sort your beans? Into different categories? Small versus large or lighter versus darker? I don't see the point of organizing the beans. I'd just mix them all together. Also, I'm amazed they are done after five hours on low(?) heat without being soaked first. Makes me wonder why people generally soak beans overnight. Ok, I'm off to make my first crock pot dish ever (beef barley black bean, vegetable, everything but the kitchen sink stew)
