Michael Jackson gives aid to Sarajevo 1992

On November 24, 1992, the Heal the World Foundation collaborated with AmeriCares to bring 43 tons of medication, blankets and winter clothes, totaling 2.1 million dollars, to war-torn Sarjajevo. The resources were allocated under the supervision of the United Nations. In December of the same year, Heal the World foundation assisted in airlifting additional relief supplies to the children of Bosnia, in association with Operation Christmas Child. The foundation transported 30,000 "shoebox gifts" of toys, school items, photographs, and inspirational letters collected by UK schoolchildren.

Michael was a true humanitarian and for that I truely admire him. He brought so much peace, love and joy to the world with everything that he did. Through his amazing music, his magical dancing and his generous giving heart, he has inspired so many people in this world. To me, he is inspiration in it's truest form.

MJ once said that "I am compelled to do these things. I feel God applauding me."

@Mikesavedmylife That is what I also wonder, the same here in Belgium. I had to discover all that on internet as well, and I did, and still do, every day. Thousands of hours I spent, and with no regret. He changed my life for the better. But since June 25, 2009, I stopped reading newspapers and watching TV. That I consider since then a pure waste of time. Michael is too incredible for words.
