@whereislucky I am amazed at how many different "invented" catagories people come up with, after the fact.
pop punk(???),pop rock(!!),punk-pop{??{,etc,etc.
the gogos were New Wave.
however this song is surf rock or surf instrumental.invented in so cal back in the early 1960s.
and no,the beach boys wernt surf music.they were pop.
