BAJA HPI 5T SICK PROJECT

WORD UP DUDES! here's an update of my hpi 5t project! the paint is half done, still have to back spray the body. still waiting on some more paint cans. also waiting on new wheels and tires! next order! there are also some more parts on the way! and the epic running video is being written and planed right now! stay tuned for running videos, us canadians have to thaw!

I have constantly been thinking about getting a 5b are they worth it? I typically run electric so I'm a little concerned about how loud a 5b can get.

@littleAZN248 IT'S LOUD. picture what you think loud is... and add like 50 decibels. it's retarded loud. that's the only down fall. but... it's like 1 hour per tank. and starts on one pull, and looks like a 1:1 truck, the weight makes the suspension act super realistic! i say get one only if you have some where BIG to run it, where your neighbours won't call the cops.

U converted the 5b to a T, do u like it better now.. Cause I have 5b and was thinking of the same thing. Any advantages to it over the B?

@winnersk8 it flies straight, rolls back on it's wheels more often. it's heavier, so it acts more like a full scale car. i always wanted the t, but when i bought it only the 5b ss kit was available. so that's why i got the b. it's worth it, to make it look cooler! but it's alot heavier, so keep that in mind.

Run the stock T exhaust can and it will keep the noise down, Are they worth it ? Yes! Go big or go home lol

@kpopRC I'm mainly looking to run it in the park. I was hoping that it was gonna be as loud as a lawn mower.I have been searching for a 5b roller and a Mamba XL, but to run a 5b as an electric would definitely take away from the fun.

For a cheaper alternative I was looking at converting my Flux into a 5sc, but problem is while the size is 1/5th the hardware is only 1/8th.

hey mate, im bout to get one early next year and wanted to know if their is anything i should know or be aware of eg; wheel hubs, wheels, springs and maybe other parts i should also look at getting before bashing the baja 5t around. thanks mate, great looking baja and i like the idea with the "skyline look"
