@ROTLDzombi Same thing here! I saw this as a kid, and thought it was the coolest thing. I did a google search for what I could remember; "magic" and "detective." Needles to say, it was hard to find XD By the way, All those "devilishly dazzling special effects" that seemed so awesome are rather...less so now. But I still think it's pretty cool.

Wow. I saw that movie on HBO back in the early '90s, and thought it was cool back then. I'd like to watch it again, actually. I remember the most disturbing scene was when someone put a curse on the producer and he shrank down to like four inches tall in his chair, and then his OWN DOGS ATE HIM! That freaked me out!
