This tutorial seems to be pretty useful but for some odd reason when I tried to seperate the sprites by using the free transform tool it wouldn't let me select just one, and it just made the entire sprite sheet move. Also I dunno if I missed it or not, but how do you get rid of the color that the sprite sheets tend to come with.

ummm i am a n00b and uh when i try to use free form selection tool after i import the sprite sheet and trace it, the whole enttire image moves and i cant select any individual sprite if any1 can help plz

Heh. Just Use the Regular Pointer Tool, Click What U want, then use the Free Transform.

This was very helpful, Before this I couldn't extract the sprites from the sheet in a good quality and this help an incredible amount.
