Dude, how does a 205HP V6 Mitsu that does 0-60 in 7.5 sec. keep up with the GTO? Heck, my old 2000 Accord V6 did 0-60 in about 7 seconds and that car did not come close to my GTO.

Don't get me wrong, I love the first and second gen Eclipses, but once Mitsubishi went grand tourer with the funky third gen V6 they lost their way. At least they have the EVO. Too bad they don't drop the EVO's driveline into the current Eclipse.

guys this is the 5.7l one and still did 0 to 60 in high 4 seconds. the 6.0l is even more impressive.

Haha it's funny how everyone claims there car can do 0-60 in such short times. If your cars are that fast, do what this gentlemen did and prove it. If you actually do it, you'll find your car is not near as fast as you claim.

=) Nicely done! LS1's can't handle more then Ford's 4.6?....Who would even argue with that statement..lmfao. Pontiac didn't steal anything..GM owns Holden,Vauxhall and Opel....lol. They are just stationed in Europe. My Mitsubishi walks Stock GTO's all day long tho, mainly from a dig..You just can't beat AWD off the line..=) Then again i do not own a ricer boy Eclipse, the have the 3000GT VR4 <3..still campared to my Vette..eh..

@dyceeclipse really? so mustangs have been made for over 45 years straight. i dont see your precious GTO being made for that long. they didnt even last 10 total. obviously you know very little about cars because right on the GTO's steering wheel is the Pontiac logo, AND on the hood, AND on the rear deck lid. LS1's cant handle the power a 4.6 can.

how do you consider a cobra being more mod worthy apparently you know nothing about cars. i dont know where to start. the ls1 probably has the most aftermarket support out there. and the gto isnt even a pontiac turn that car inside out and nowhere will you find the word "pontiac". the only thing on that car that is even made in the U.s is the motor, trans, driveshaft and rear end. research, and actually see some legit ls1s make high horsepower. than see how moronic 80% of u r
