@southkoreaeatsdogs He did that maybe so he would be more successful was better in japan . also to become the strongest karate fighter more knowledgeable ..that's same thing if Mexican tried to come to america.. or any part of south of america.

@hotpopcorncake yeah he did overcome alot . he became a Japanese citizen in 1964 tho . I wonder why he did it .

@southkoreaeatsdogs Not really just in movie but he had wife in Korea and left one in japan.. because he miss his family. He though himself more as Korean then anything after dealings with bullshit in japan he overcame crap to become a better person.
