As amazing as this point in music history is, may I respectfully suggest that we all stop looking back nostalgically, and become our own 'Bowies' (and by that I mean the exact opposite of imitating him and his styles). Make your own cutting edge syntheses of what you find significant now & in decades passed. He wasn't concocting something entirely original here; he was synthesizing Harmonia, Roxy Music, Eno, Kraftwerk, early 20th Dada/Futurism/Constructivism, Science Fiction, Romanticism etc
