I'd read that plants could manipulate their leaves to catch light, so I decided to catch my new bean plant in (very slow) action.
This video plays at about 250x normal speed (one frame every ten seconds), over the course of about seven hours. The plant (a phaseolus vulgaris, to the best of my knowledge) responds to changes in natural and (interestingly) artificial light, as well as my own occasional interruptions to keep the setup in sunlight.
If you watch closely, you may also notice that my BCD clock is slowly running out of sync with my computer.
