  • What kind of paint?

  • @BraydenMac

Sorry,,, it is painted with automotive paint,,, too much rocket for rattle cans!!!!

  • It is setup for dual deploy, it fired drouge at 300ft per second,, shaking main out past shear pins. When 3rd motor came up late, the first two were tapering off kicking it to near horizontal trajectory, Baro alt fired, drouge deployed stopping airframe, main forced it's way out past shear pins

  • Harpoon will be flown again at Red Glare VII 11-14-09. This time on 3 6000ns White motors.

On board video again, 2 ARTS and a Missleworks altimeters in the electronics bay.

  • wow was this single deploy at apogee???? I surprised you didnt go for dual deploy with a project that size, plus you wouldnt have to walk a mile (if everything goes right). And the drag across the ground made my skin crawl (thinking of that paint job dying)

  • excellent tom & jerry this video sucked

  • cool!

  • Excellent video Tom. Hope you keep this one out there so people can see what rocketry is like from an "onboard the rocket" perspective. Awesome level 3 flight too!
