I just brought some molasses but I dont have a hooded dryer wil it still work aswell without the heat?

Please clarify, is this Molasse as in Black Strap Molasses that is used for backing ETC? So you mix is with a conditioner then sit under heat for 15 minutes. Whats the coconut oil treatment under for please. I really want to try this out, but i need a simple regimen. Also if i dont use heat, how long would you recommend i keep it on for? Thank you! I so love you videos!!
