Ok, for me, it's official. It was Two Fat Feet for a long time but I am now claiming this song to be the single greatest tune ever created. I know (!) b/c I have listened to this 17,415 times.

i saw them a couple of years ago for the widow city tour. great live show. and i too got to meet matt and eleanor after the show. matt signed widow city for me. woulda asked him to sign all of them but he had a lot of people around him. i got to hang with eleanor for about 20 minutes chatting. asked her to sign a cd cover and she asked if i wanted her to sign all of them and of course i replied "yes please!". need to see them again and have matt do the same.

@BarbaryPirates : One of my good friends was probably at that show. She was there for Wilco, but ended up LOVING the FF. And to her credit, she turned me on to them shortly thereafter. I've me them (Matt and E.) a few times now after shows & they are just the coolest, most down-to-earth rock stars I've ever met. I've been on a FF kick all day at work today-- their music is so easy to program to. Long may you run, Fiery Furnaces. Long may you run.

I've gone off 'em since the Radiohead beef last year.

@graphic747 ....thanks. Never coulda figgered that out by myself. Oh, my girlfriend says that you are being ironic. What's that?

every time I put this on I wanna comment. I'm too fucking old to be tracking rock'n roll tours, but if I ever actually notice that the FF's are in Vancouver, well.....I hope i'm sitting on the toilet at the time.

Nifty song and John Oliver! Wonderful combination.

@MisterFist360 aka Daily Show correspondent John Oliver!

The Fiery Furnaces were the coolest cats I met. Saw them play a few years ago on the Blueberry Boat tour with Wilco in the U.S. at The Norva in Norfolk, Va. They drove a beat up Dodge Caravan, but were easily approachable and more than willing to talk to a few random strangers. Great band to see live and icing on the cake to be able to shoot the breeze with them.
Keep up the fantastic work.
