Exposing Conservative Agenda Washington Gay Marriage

Just got home from our vacation and read an artical on http://www.queerty.com/1-day-shy-everything-but-marriage-washingtons-gays-get... about the domestic partners law that was about to take effect.
seems conservatives have decided to not only atack gay marriage but also domestic partners rights.

As a conservative heterosexual Christian woman I think those people who attack gay people under those banners are hypocrites. Christians are supposed to love everybody, I don't see anywhere in the bible that adds "Except homosexuals, you can hate them". Being a conservative to me should be about less gov't interference in peoples' lives, not letting people marry is pretty damn interfering. And I maintain that marriage is secular, if atheists can marry why not gay people?

Referendum 71 was accepted in Washington. Now, the religious conservatives who sponsored it want to keep their names secret, but the courts didn't buy their arguments.

I don't care if gays get married. I'm more concerned about y'all adopting children. But I'm sure you're too selfish to care about the problems it could potentially cause the child. It's all about you. Just like abortion is all the about the woman's choice. But yet when the religious fanatics want to show the ultrasound to the mother the liberals cry about it. I read the Referendum 71 text and it does say that while it is not marriage, it will treat those unions as if it were marriage. I have to say I agree with you on that because even if you don't cal it marriage, those who oppose gay rights will try and roll it back. Thanks for showing us this.
