This is a new video demo of a platform game I've been making. Again, it's inspired from I Wanna be the Guy, though my own take on things. This video shows off what I plan to have for the first area. Also shows the Child-Eating Lotus boss. I may expand the first area a little more before getting to the boss. Anyway, that's all there is to say.

As of late March, I have dubbed this game "Battle Kid: Fortress of Peril".

  • Can't wait for the release.

This has to be dumped and reproduced on a NES cart.

  • Oh, don't worry. All my games get put on real carts with original parts. Check out retrousb.

  • This looks great. What mapper are you using? How much memory (PRG-ROM, CHR-ROM, RAM)?

  • 256kb of PRG ROM with the mapper UOROM.

  • @realgod1002 It's above the home base. Go through the beginning part until you get to the first sniper snail. Get on top of the blocks above the spikes and jump to the left as far as you can with the slow fall and double jump. The fourth key is there.
