Ive got a strange problem. When i turn my Samsung LCD (2232BW) off and put it on after an hour or so... i have to push the power button for about 20 times before the monitor turns on again. Can this be a capacitor problem also? Greets from Holland. ;)
my 40" series 6 is doing this too, rang samsung and they say my model doesnt suffer the clicking or bad capacitors! even though its showing all the signs..... not sure where to go on this now.
You can always go up on voltage just never lower, because it is a safety feature so to speak Make sure your Microfarads are exactly the same. Also there are several people on You Tube that demonstrate just how to do this on there TV's and as all TVs vary as far as the lay out of the Circuit board, the Caps always look the same and are easy to identify. Don't waste your money on a repair guy if you don't need to. It should be a easy cheap fix.
inspect for blow caps, it's a easy cheap fix and when you go buy replacements I would go with a little bit better quality cap with a higher voltage tolerance then what the cap says from your TV.
that regulates the amount of voltage that is distributed through out the Tv. The voltage are signals that tells the tv what to do. If you have a blown capacitor then the Tv will not allow you to turn the Tv on,because it is keeping that power from running through the TV and destroying the TV components within it's self. I would take it apart and
is this covered in your warrenty?
