I'm Japanese. I think this hotel should have prepared the English list for the dinner. The Japanese list is prepared for us in general, but as a matter of fact, we often dont know what we are eating like you even if we have the list. A local hotels dinner is full of mysterious dishes. XD

you its funny you said that because everywhere we went the food was already prepared. we didn't have a menu. we just ate what they brought to us. so it was a surprise and treat everytime. i loved everything i ate. I think my favorite thing was the okinomiyaki and shark fin soup yummy!

The best food on earth--why is everybody acting like it's freakish. Especially holding the food like it's not food is disrespectful. What would be disgusting is a list of these diners' actual food preferences. Most were likely raised on really boring Western diets.

I don't think they were looking at it in that sense. I just think they were surprised at what we were eating. I honestly dont think they suspected what our dish was that night it was funny. But then again they werent into the culture like u and I r. And I'm sure the peeps @ the resturants overlook peeps like them.

Hey kitty love your videos! There was a resturant in the hotel we stayed at in ATAMI called hotel Sunmi Club. Very nice place I loved it! Check it out!

Well, they think the snail is disgusting, but it's actually shellfish rather than snail, I find they are just foolish... not disrespectful, as that kind of food is well served in a course dinner and expensive.

I'm sorry to hear that you didn't have a right to choose food and everywhere you went the food was prepared without the English menu. It might be an ordeal...
