@AllAroundofAwesome The first time, she is looking in a mirror, so we are seeing a mirror image. So it is on the left side both times. I thought the same thing you did until I watched it again to make sure :)

@fdrdevotee Yes Absolutely! It's very very rare. But we never know. Hope it dont happen to anybody.

@MissingKor86 It's really not something you should be worrying about, though. It's very, VERY rare; from what I understand, only a few hundred cases of NF are recorded each year in the US. If you keep your cuts clean and dry, the chance of contracting it is practically nil.
So, yeah. Settle down, everyone. 99 times out of 100, cutting yourself shaving will NOT result in getting your face eaten.

This infection is called 'Necrotizing fasciitis.' Razor cut is not the only way to get this bacterial infection. You can get it from simple cut or, unfortunately, during surgery. You must pay attention when you get a cut or scratch even if it's small. If you are lucky to find it fast, you can do skin graft leaving relatively small scar. If you are late to find it (for most NF cases) amputation is inevitable. or it can result in death in a fairly short time.

When she notices the infection after a couple of days, it is on the right side of her face, but when she is at the hospital, it is on the left side of her face... 'o_O
