This is the DC5's greatest song. One of the best of the 60's gems. Dave's relentess drumming pounding out the back beat along with the guitar interplay, it's just a wonderful song. I first heard this song on WABC New York, on the Cousin Brucie afternoon show. Try Too Hard is much more uplifting and complex in terms of its musicanship. A great song. Sound as fresh today as it did in 1966-67.

Loved the DC5 but I don't recall ever hearing this tune before. Really glad to hear it now. Just sounds so good. Dave Clark's great drumming just seemed to permeate everything they recorded, with everyone in the band hitting that same great level. A sound, a style, a presence that was all their own. And that terrific video really brings it all back. Such wonderful shots you've used that show them in every way and brings that incredible time period so beautifully into focus. What a handsome work.
Super stereo, super extension to a too-short single. Thanks mosogotam for the sharing of this remastered gem. This should have been a monster UK hit for someone - a simple song with infectious riff on a par with The Stones' Satisfaction. DC5 could hardly have made a better song than this; it's brilliant and you have still managed to improve it. A rare song, forgotten again here until replayed today on Radio London Oldies Project; many thanks

This is my favorite DC5 song and the extended version you've done is the way the song should have been done. It's great!

I haven't heard this splendid gem in many, many years. It never left my cerebral cortex, since first listening to it on the L.A. airwaves in 1966. I got a flashback of wonderful memories.
Thanks mosogotom and Youtube!
Love it!
