Too bad you can't make Marciano in Round 4; the heavies light heavies are 175 lbs, 10 lbs too light to qualify for the heavyweight division. Also, the reason the heavyweight division went lower in the old days, is because bigger men rarely made it past the number 10 spot; although their size and strength helped them bull through most fighters, when they got to the top guys, they were almost always floored.

Its not that the heavies are bigger, Americans have always been well fed, and well nourished relative to other peoples, its just that bigger dudes simply didn't make it that far up. The talent and power pool was too big. Size will make a difference I agree, but not against the likes of a Marciano. For those of you who disagree, once again, please consult this video;

  • Whoever says marciano would win against mike is blind or jst dnt kno anythin bout fighting

  • @udown24 dude, unless you are dealing with, oh, the difference between a tiger and chihuahua, I agree with you 450%. However the difference between Marciano and Tyson is like comparing a cougar with a panther I mean...

  • plus mike was in prison for his best years if he was out at that time nobody would have stood a chance

  • @jabertcul actually, assuming his mind is right and did not take too much punishment in the ring, a boxer's best years are the late 20's and early 30's. At that age the best fighters have the right combination of ring savvy as they are seasoned, with youthful vigor. Of course, this operates under the assumption a fighter has kept up with their training, and their mind is right.

  • Speed kills...tyson has the speed here

  • Both in my top 3 with Ali but I give it to Tyson cuz all 5 of marcianos best fights his Opponents were averaged age 40

  • Roland LaStarza had to have surgery to remove blood clots Rocky beat into his arms in their fight. Tests showed his uppercut had the force of a battering ram. Rocky had the power like few others. Tyson was a beast, no doubt about it. But even he looked up to Marciano for his power. I'd give a very close fight to Marciano. I say fight because it'd be haymaker after haymaker between these knockout artists. Could still go to Tyson, but 49-0 is 49-0 no matter what time period.

  • @XxAshMorningstarxX

    man i agree

    i hate those douches who say marciano would win , damn box developed and in tyson's days where some extraclass boxers , but tyson was superior to them , in his prime just unstoppoble

  • marciano the best ever! i like tyson cause hes a vegan like me.

  • @inhibited44 and retired when he was 30. Larry Holmes was also the shit in his day and Tysonwas the only one to have ever knocked him the fuck out. Marciano wouldve never been able to take constant combos from Tyson just the force of the punches would keep him off balance. He knockled down twice in the first round by guys who 1. didnt weigh as much as Tyson and 2. didnt hit as hard or fast or accuratly as Tyson. He would beat him like he beat Ruddock probably a TKO.

  • @XxAshMorningstarxX Archie Moore was one of the best fighters of his day. He said fighting Marciano was both "like fighting a bull with gloves" and like getting hit by a propeller blade. Marciano's punches were constant. Marciano ran 15 miles every day in the hills of New York when he trained and he trained for months.

    Tyson would never last against him. Marciano had an excellent chin too. Marciano was born to fight and trained like a maniac.

  • @MegaZak1991 are you retarded? are you seriously fucking using the bullshit Ali fight? fucking dumbass..Tyson was waaaay faster than Marciano what the fuck are you talking about "Marcianos level"? that bitch had no skill he couldve easily gotten outboxed. he retired when he was thirty so he avoided great young legends like floyd patterson that motherfucker wouldve lost against high caliber fighters like Tyson.
