My very first attempt at a YouTube video review - apologies for the less than perfect result (but I'm learning!)...

This mini-review of the Kalash airsoft replica of the Russian AK105 assault rifle shows you some of the 'out of the box' features of this new AEG. In due course I want to video a more in-depth review.

Constructive criticism welcome!

  • can u switch the back stock to a skeleton stock?

  • @coozy100 - You just have to knock out a pin to exchange the plastic stock to a skeleton one. CYMA do a skeleton version of this, but it's not as good as the Kalash (DBoy)

  • @SovietUnioun - LCT do a very nice RIS that will fit this.

  • First reviews, wow, i would say its one of the best ones iv seen, its not slow and you go through it pretty fast while not too fast

  • @calila96

i got this one! and it kick ass!!! it has gr8 fire power and shots very hard!

i totaly recommed this gun! but i should buy a Precision barrel, and new hop up rubber to my, and a cobra reddot.. from the box it shot 380fps and got good precision! no problems to take out a sniper! :P

  • On the RIS issue, there are several ways you could add RIS to this AEG. The front grips can be removed and replaced by any of the AK47/74 type RIS grips out there (although I haven't tried).

And the AK side mounting plate can take special scope mounts with standard 20mm rails on them if you want to use sights other than the Russian style ones.

  • As said, the AK74 series uses polymer (plastic) magazines, that said the 100 series does have 7.62mmx39mm based replicas (AK104 for example) and they would take a AK47 type steel mag.

This AK105 version is a replica of the 5.45x39 caliber version, BUT it's actually indistinguishable to the AK104 version - so stick a steel mag in it and you have a AK104!

  • its 61 seconds.

  • is this a good gun? i wus hopin to buy it

  • you can mount a ris on the forgrip not sure
