Every Breath You Take For Solo Guitar
Arranged and performed by Stu Clark on the Breedlove Pro Series C25/CRH....and what a fantastic guitar it is.I can certainly say that its the best guitar i have ever played.I also used a Flip video camera, peavey practice amp (For a bass guitar) using the pick up built into the guitar.
For guitarists trying to work out whats going on here.....
I play the first riff in the traditional way then its still the same chords around Gadd9, Eminadd9, Cadd9 and Dadd9,just played in a different way to be able to reach the melody notes.I use palm muting across the bottom 4 strings whilst leaving the top 2 strings free to bring out the melody.I use the capo on the 3rd fret because i like the sound of this piece as an instrumental in this key.
You will notice on the Eminadd9 chord I use my Left hand 1st finger at the beginning of the bar but replace it at the end of the bar with my 2nd in order to reach the following melody notes. This actually isn't neccessary but it feels more comfortable to me.(Some people might calll it a bad habit). This piece is not difficult to play.Try it without muting until you can play it.Then add the muting later.
Some chorus & delay effects are used to create a more atmospheric electro acoustic tone but the Breedlove guitar doesn't need any help at all to sound good.
I hope you all send me some comments and video responses with your efforts and please add me,subscribe me find me on Facebook and www.myspace.com/stuclarkguitar

  • Amazing guitar playing!

How long did it take you to get this arrangement perfect?

  • @Dominik22IN This actually took a couple of hours. But I'd played the song with a band before. If you listen carefully Im not always the exact guitar riff that Andy Summers played. This is not an error I do this because the harmony clashes when played as a guitar solo but somehow seems to work when you play the gtr riff and sing over the top of it.

  • Im just here to steal some licks.....and I have found some!!

  • @crossingzero everyone comes here for different reasons. Some to listen, some to learn, some to get a little inspiration and some to steal.Steal away friend but keep coming back and always stay in touch !!

  • Does anyone know the chords?

  • @unplugged10 read the info on the track !!
