Its a Fed sig EQ2B they arent allowd to use a real Q hqvent you been to NY,NY ?
-
That is the Federal Signal EQ2B. FDNY puts the EQ2B on all their new apparatus. Have you even been to New York City? Sheesh! I've never heard of you, but I'm thinking that you don't know what the Federal Signal EQ2B is.

FDNY is mandated to use electronic Q's (EQ2B) because by using the electronic Q, the sound doesn't echo as much and you can actually get a sense of direction of where it is coming from. A regular Federal Q would be too loud, would echo much more, and would not give people a sense of where the siren is coming from.

@ParisianZee EQ2B electronic Q2B lile every of our new engines and ladder rigs have
-
what happens if a car runs a red light to clear the way for an emergency vehicle and then gets a red light ticket?
-
no offence but are pedestrains actually fuckin stupid they just walk out infront of the traffic
-
Why aren't real Q2B sirens allowed in NY? Are they too powerful or something?
-
Ce sont de nouveaux engins qu'ils ont reçus ? Quand j'y suis allée en 2009, les gyrophares n'étaient pas les mêmes
-
@jazzbutterworth they still aren't allowed to have one, and the Q has been removed!
They dont seem to have a rush responding to a EMS box....

What the hell kind of siren is that ? Sounds like the scream of death repeated. Very, very strange siren.
