Really if your check engine light come back on the would be a good thing cause it will just tell you what is wrong...If you want a complete list of the trouble codes just ask and I will post them

The EGR control valve does not operate

i got the check engine code on my 94 sentra by turning the diagnostic screw (located in the middle of the dash console on the floor on the back of the ECU) fully clockwise for 2 seconds and then counterclockwise and looking for long and short flashes of the light on the ECU and i got a code

I'm about to replace my distributor, see if that makes any difference.
But would the EGR Valve keep it from starting?
