ME112 crawler project with Durell Coleman, Gayle Lee, Shelly Ni
Thought some red brights might be a nice touch, help light up the salamanders' path.
The goal is to make a crawler to travel up and down 1 meter of a gravel path with 3 degree rise, between 7-12 seconds each way, using the same voltage both directions. Without lights, we run 4 volts, 130mA for ~10 seconds each way. With lights, run 7 volts, 160mA for similar speed. fun stuff
