On April 15, 2007, America honored the great black baseball player, Jackie Robinson. It has been 60 years since Jackie broke the color barrier in major league baseball, but he did so at a time of a segregated America. Even though, he was a major sports figure, he stood up for equality in the face of racism and segregation for himself and all other black Americans. He was an Honorable Man and Great Baseball Player deserving of his place in the Baseball Hall of Fame!
