I saw Thunders leap off the stage and land on this skinhead guy who'd lobbed a bottle near his head. He grabbed the guy , who was a good deal bigger (Hey , who was'nt?) but , the two were pulled apart before either could really be hurt. He may have been stoned , but , he got un - stoned real quick. He WOULD get New York on your ass if he felt like it.

@Waitingforriki Uh maybe my English isn't that good,that is exactly what I said. I never said that he was OFF dope for six years, I thought someone else said that Thunders was OFF dope for six years, and I said that was a lie because he was doing dope till the end of his life.But before he died he was clean for a short period,and maybe 6 MONTHS but NEVER 6 years. So I exactly thought the same thing as you. Anyway I think Thunders is the greatest,PEACE!!!

@8754richard.... Bwwaahahahahahahaaa!!!! Off skag for 6 years ??? As if !! I doubt he was off it for 6 seconds..He was an addict til the end unfortunately..he spent his adult life trying to live up to his 'junkie image' in a way that was very very sad & pathetic..He wrote some good songs for sure but boy he was a balls out slobbering junky mess who made Keith Richards look like Mary Poppins !! I'm amazed old Johnny can stand up, let alone get all confrontational with innocent members of the crowd..he looks like a zombie..which is no surprise after years of cranking, blurting & shooting all kinds of 'low grade smack' & 'Mexican shoe scrapings' into his body every hour of everyday !! @edfeltch I don't know where you got that information from,but JT wasn't off dope for the last six years,he was clean for a short period before he died,but maybe that was 6 months but never 6 years.And I have a lot more of this gig with also includes backstagefootage and it's obvious that he is strung out. And I love Thunders music, I have all his official stuff and a lot of bootlegs to. But saying that he was off dope for the last six years is just not true.

@dedski haha i have a couple junkie friends (skinny white boys) i've witnessed them doped off their ass beat the fuck out of some scary lookin biker guys.. junkies can be pretty scary sometimes. johnny doesn't look intimidating by any means but i'm sure he would've fucked them up strung out or not
