Read more here: http://www.tinyesveld.com Belgium is not only famous for its beer, but also for Victor Horta and Henry van de Velde and many other art nouveau artists. In Antwerp there's a part of town where you can find more then one hundred art nouveau houses in just a few streets. The main street is named the Cogels-Osy lei in the district Berchem. All the houses are from the belle-epoque, built between 1881 and 1914. It is a pleasure to see the mosaic tiles in the façades à la Mucha or the balconies in iron with the fluid jugendstil lines. You can spend several hours in these streets and then you haven't seen it all. A great idea for a citytrip.
