Iraqi Air Force Mig-23 in ex-Yugoslavia

Our IQAF Mig-23 in ex-Yugoslavia, it's been sent for Maintenance, and it's stayed there!!
The IQAF now trying of get back some of these birds!! there's a good number of some Mig-21 & Mig-23, some of it in good condition, others are out of service!!!

the russians really said that, thats great to hear I think that we used the mirage F-1, and Mig-25 better than the rest of the countries that have them this is after much research with many airforces and are the best Hind-D pilots in the world due to our air to air victories of 10 cobras destroyed to the loss of 6 iraqi Hind-D's among its other basic uses.

Yup they said that, N uR absolutely right about our Mi24 pilots, do U know how much difficult 2fly the Hind!! but our Pilots did it agianst the horrible AH-1 with it's so good Irn-pilots been trained N USA!!

The 1st Heli A2A kill was 4us Dude, so proud

@Wardog687 Yeas, it's been sent since the 80's to the ex-Yugoslavia 4 that reason but becouse of the 1st Gulf War we couldn't get it back :(

Our new Government R so busy killing each others N stealing money, they don't have the mood now 2 bring back these birds 4 the IQAF

i have two questions. first what happened to the planes that the americans found buried under the ground? they found 30+ jets including migs and su 25s???? second is how long does it take them to refurbish it? Saddam already paid them so?

@Elrooh These birds wont fly again, btw i dont really see why would you want them back. Also if your asking that Serbia should pay for the planes i dont think so in my opinion as they forgive 3 billion dollars of debt that Iraq owed Serbia. For various Military purchases you made during the 80's all the way to 2003.
