The 2/5 preparation, 3/5 theatre thing is so true! I have a feeling that you have those 3/5 down. And I never knew you were such a wonderful rapper!
You might want to try fading in and out between the music clips. Also, there is a transition you could try putting into your interview called "push," it might help to make it seem less disjointed.
