  • Nimajji, My family worked on the Railways in Ajmeer, Bandikui and MOW. I have visited my Grandfather's homes, the Indian families living there were good enough to let me video inside. It was a great moment, to stand in those houses and see where my fore fathers lived. The Indian families understood the importance of my visit and made me feel welcome. My research continues in India, I was there in '05 and '06 and I may be visiting again this year. Please keep your comments coming, thanks.

  • Hi to all, I would appreciate it if comments are free from too many coarse words. It is great to debate and one may better listen to a reply if it is free of anger.

    Thanks to all, Nigel

  • Hence Indians of Anglo Indian descent think they pure white because of their inherited physical traits i am deeply sorry but that is a load of rubbish being squandered by people who don't want face what really happened in India.

Indian are wither half breeds or full breaded Indians that is a fact if you then say to me that to preserve these Anglos as full Europeans try telling neo nazi from Germany or British racist that and then see how you are accepted., you will soon see how run .

  • Hello Nigel

weather you accept this or not Anglo Indian people are not pure Europeans, They have been part of India and part of the sad British mutiny that co-existed during the day of the British empire. Europeans did come to India and they did rape many Indian women, due to deprivation, but i don't think the Anglo Indian community needs to preserved, it has wake up and identify some of the human rights abuses white, European people inflicted on India, hence producing Anglo or euro

  • My sirname is henderson and my grand dad with this sirname was born in Agra, does anyone know of Hendersons living in India and more importantly, in Agra?

  • My Granddad was born in Agra neer the Taj Mahal, i'm not sure where my grandmother was born but she's also anglo-indian. They came to England after the partition and my dad was born here . My father met my mother who is of Irish & English descent. They divorced when I was young, I didn't know my father very well and I didn't meet my indian grand parents, in Jan this year my dadpast away at the young age of 43. I am really curious to find out more information on my Indian roots.

  • @BengaliAshoka

    you're a moron ! ! !

  • @BengaliAshoka Hyper modernist hahahaha...aw Apu you really know your English.

  • @BengaliAshoka How could you say something like that ? When all of the Sub Continent is one big mixture of people, from Greeks,Arabs,Turks,Persian (Iranian),Mongol,Tibetan,Burmese and Dravidan. They are half breeds ? What the hell does that suppose to mean ?! Your Hindu lust for purity is a sham. Its non-existent.Its why you were so divided and the British and every other invader Capitalized on it.And subjugated native Indians for Centuries.

Learn your own God damn History.

  • @BengaliAshoka Ironically, the British said the same thing when the Anglo's started arriving in England. Thanks for proving that ignorant people seldom change.
