@tibbzscrum Interesting that you should compare Sylvian with Morrissey. Both of them have played down the importance of their fellow musicians from their most successful bands!. Morrissey has claimed that Mike Joyce and Andy Rourke were little more than session musicians in The Smiths and Sylvian in interviews to promote the Rain Tree Crow album implied the same was true of Mick Karn, Steve Jansen and Richard Barbieri, giving the impression that it was a David Sylvian solo album.
