May 31, 2011 marks ten years since Arlene Francis left us. This charming, talented, beautiful, amazing woman did it all - stage, radio, television, film, and books - and did it fantastically well. It is difficult to encompass all of her accomplishments in one clip, for she broke so many barriers for women in entertainment and media, and always did so with absolute class.

Miss Francis, you are appreciated, loved and so very missed - thank you, dear lady!

  • @ golddustwoman - That clip is from the episode featuring Maureen O'Hara as the MG, in 1959. It's a rare on-camera display of affection between Martin and Arlene, but an adorable one!

  • Do you have the full shows/movies from which the clips at :47, 1:46, and 2:30 are taken, and if so can you please upload them? I have never seen them before.

  • @americanidol510 Hi! I do have them on my laptop, which is being repaired, but I promise to upload as much as I can, as soon as possible. Thank you so much! :)

  • SO great!!! I love her so much!

  • @TheLadyEveSidwich Thank you so much - I love her too! :)

  • She was smart, charming and CLEVER!!! May everyone have someone like this in your life....what a blessing she was amongst us...

  • Arlene made a black eye mask and frown lines sexy!

  • You've made such marvellous videos! I was wondering, the clip where Martin kisses Arlene's hand, do you know which episode that is? It would seem I've watched so many and have yet to come across it.

  • How ironic and awful that she sucumbed to Alzheimer's disease.. a horrible, horrible disease; hopefully a predictable diagnose, a cure or at least an effective treatment shall be discover soon..

  • Her son went to Harvard..

  • she was often just stunning in the black and white episodes of WML....
