May 31, 2011 marks ten years since Arlene Francis left us. This charming, talented, beautiful, amazing woman did it all - stage, radio, television, film, and books - and did it fantastically well. It is difficult to encompass all of her accomplishments in one clip, for she broke so many barriers for women in entertainment and media, and always did so with absolute class.
Miss Francis, you are appreciated, loved and so very missed - thank you, dear lady!

How ironic and awful that she sucumbed to Alzheimer's disease.. a horrible, horrible disease; hopefully a predictable diagnose, a cure or at least an effective treatment shall be discover soon..
