@saidder Now that it's over a year later, he probably sucks even worse performing Live ! LOL I don't know about you, but i'll save my hard earned money to see a show that doesn't resemble an outtake from Roadhouse. In the meantime, take a few moments to find out what is happening NOW...wait a year...and then reply back to that person. Peace.
You have missed the point, Saidder. Seeing as you are responding to my original post, which I posted over a YEAR AGO, there will always be diehard fans who feel that no matter how much a performer sucks, they'll make excuses. Let me also correct you, that I was not pissed off, just very disappointed. He was drunk, and there was really NO DIFFERENCE between the guy on stage, or some drunken fool from the crowd. Bottom Line stays the same: Elton is always a class act..Billy needs rehab.
@bearmunch It's still rock'n'roll to me. Isn't that what rock is supposed to be about? Not giving a !@#$ and pissing you off!!! He's being true to the spirit. He ain't going to fade away quietly.
@bearmunch, I am the complete opposite. I only knew a small chunk of Billy Joel's songs, and I went to the Face To Face show (in Anaheim) since I was more of an Elton John fan, but still wanted to see both live (first time i've seen either of them live), and ever since the concert, I'm a big fan of Billy Joel as well.
Second of all: He missed singing most of it? You mean the parts, that were sung by his musicians? It's supposed to sound like that! Those are the background-parts! So stop bitching, before you know the facts.

All I can say is that I liked Billy Joel before seeing his 'live' show. Now I like him less. That is a Fact.
