TivoHD: Viewing Computer Videos (HD)

This high-definition video capture demonstrates playback of MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 videos on a TiVo. More specifically, it demonstrates the functionality available on a TivoHD when the free pyTiVo (or pyTivoX on OSX) and Streambaby applications are installed on a PC or Mac.

You don't have to convert to mpeg-2 if you use streambaby.

Hmmm. So, instead of the "My DVR Extender" One can stream from an archive on a PC. I'm guessing that the move from the Tico HD to the PC is done after a show is initially recorded in the Tivo HD drive. Can the Tivo HD be told to automatically move recordings into the PC as the Tivo HD hard disk(s) are full?
